I'm Kinda Gross

Remember when I tried to stop using regular shampoo and totally failed, but said that I would try to find an alternative.? I've been determined to use less shampoo.  My solution has been to wash my hair every-other-day and when I wash my hair, only applying shampoo at the roots.  Then I use conditioner at the ends.

Let me just tell you that the method is not foolproof.  Today was day two and as I took my ponytail down, I found a really greasy and nasty patch.  For real.  So either one part of my scalp produces enough grease in two days to fry an egg OR I am completely inept at washing my hair.  Or both.  Sigh.  I fear that's the real answer.  Feel free to judge me now.

Dude, there is no way I could go two days without washing my hair. With real shampoo. And that "dry shampoo" crap does not work. Some girls just have oily hair. Wash it. You'll feel better. Maybe you could cut down on some other product in your life. Or not. Some things are necessary for civilization!

I do the shampoo-roots-condition-ends thing...kinda new to it. You're only a little bit gross, and I love you a little bit more for it. :D xoxo

Would it make you think I'm disgusting or make you jealous that I can pretty much go 5 days or so... Sometimes longer if it's a rough day/night! It's really weird because I don't have greasy hair for sure, but I don't have dry hair either. And I have so much hair, it saves SO much time if I can skip a hair wash or few!

I do every other day. And I have grease hair so I had to train it to not be disgusting. I do the roots thing, but find I have to get them pretty suddsy and then super make sure to get all the 'poo out. The conditioner I leave on while I'm warshin' my bod.

Jami, If I could go 5 days sans hair wash I totally would. I'm not that into showering. I claim it as being a hippy.

Totally jealous, Jami! I know how long it takes you to dry and fix your hair, so you're lucky it lasts that long!
